The teaching faculty has been playing a unique and important role in undergraduate and graduate education. Now there are 5 professors in this department, teaching all the English majors as well as non=majors in Hohai University Japanese, German, Russian，and French. Besides, those courses are chosen by about 2000 students of all levels each semester as their second foreign language.
