Wei Yang won the Third Prize in the National Final

On Dec 14, 2018, the second National “French star” Talent Competition was held in Songjiang Campus, Shanghai International Studies University. Wei Yang, a Junior French major from this college, won the third prize in the national final under the tutorship of Wang Yijing, head of French Department.

Such a good result could not be achieved without support from the school authority and  dedication of French Department faculty. Meanwhile, Wen Yangs success has also encouraged the faculty members to stay true to the original intention  and keep forging ahead.

The National “French Star” Talent Competition is a national one jointly hosted by National Advisory Committee on Teaching French to Majors in Higher Education, Association Chinoise des Professeurs de Français(ACPF) and School of French and Francophone Studies, Shanghai International Studies University.It is aimed at providing French majors a platform for showing talents, communicating with each other and making progress together.
