On the afternoon of December 12th, College of International Languages and Cultures of Hohai University held a Symposium on “International Cooperative Teaching and International Talent Training” in the academic lecture hall. former UN Chinese language supervisor Dr. He Yong, , former dean of Institute for International Students, Nanjing University Professor Cheng Aimin, , former director of Department for International Cooperation and Exchange Professor Lin Yue, Director of International Department of Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation Qiu Yuanyuan, ,  Dean of College of Foreign Languages, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Professor Xiangtao Fan, , Director of International Offics, Yangzhou University Professor Xu Qin, , Dean of School of Foreign Languages, Nanjing University of Finance & Economics Professor Sun Yongbin, and Dean of Foreign Languages and Literature, Nanjing Tech University Professor Chen Shihua, were present at the invitation of Dean of College of International Languages and Cultures of Hohai University Cai,Bin . Also, some faculty members and student representatives from this college attended the meeting. Assistant Dean of the college Professor Yang Ronghua, , presided over the seminar and Professor Cai Bin delivered the opening speech.

During the keynote speech part, the experts and scholars in the international field focused on the introduction mechanism of foreign high-quality educational resources; the introduction, digestion, absorption and integrated innovation of high-quality resources; how to utilize foreign educational resources to promote international talent training and realize the internationalization of education. The speeches were full of highlights and climaxes, which inspired the attendees.

Professor Cai made the summary statement: he first illustrated the original intention of this seminar before pointing out that through communication, every attendee would have a more comprehensive understanding of the new situation and new tasks of the internationalization of education and would have more in-depth thinking on the new ideas and measures of the internationalization of education. College of International Languages and Cultures of Hohai University, as the host of this seminar, will also take this opportunity to learn from peer colleges so as to promote the internalization of its education.
