Recently, the 4th Top 10 Students Title selection activities themed by Moving Hohai came to an end, in which our college student, Liang Manqi, won Top 10 Students (social practice type) Title.

     Our college insists on modifying its way of teaching to suit the special requirements of each student to explore their potentials and building personalized platforms for each student’s growth. Liang Manqi has been carrying out social practice activities since fresh year. She served as the head of school-level team to travel to do research in Jiangxi Provincial Department of water resources and its affiliates. She also did voluntary teaching in remote mountainous areas in Sichuan Province. During the last year, she participated in the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games as a volunteer. On the other hand, the college guides her actively to be involved in campus culture construction and she served as Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Communist Youth League, Director of Student Media Center and Deputy Secretary of Youth League Committee, where she organized many profound events. Under the guidance of professional teachers, she participated in the national-level innovative training program and stepped into the grassroots as an English teacher in training institutions. Due to her outstanding performance in school, she was awarded Excellent League Member, Summer Holiday Social Practice Advanced Individual in Jiangsu Province and Hohai University Outstanding Student Leader and so on.     

     Top 10 Students Title of Hohai University evaluation is held every two years, the candidates of which are from personal recommendation, colleges, experts appraisals and public voting. It aims to select ten categories’ outstanding students from technological innovation, academic excellence, social practice, morality and so on. It is one of the most important prizes in Hohai University. Our college will continue to play a model role to promote a positive atmosphere. (by Wanglu)
